Jonathan Rodrigues is a senior Radiology Specialist Trainee in the Severn deanery. He completed his undergraduate training at The University of Edinburgh. He gained a First Class intercalated BSc(Hons) degree in Experimental Pathology in 2005 and graduated with the degree of MBChB with Honours in 2008, winning the Leslie Gold Medal in Medicine and the Annandale Gold Medal in Surgery, as well as being awarded the Ettles Scholarship for most outstanding graduate of the year. He completed Academic Foundation Training in South East Scotland before moving to Bristol to undertake run-through Radiology training.

He has a long-standing interest in medical education and is a co-author of the abdominal X-ray and chest X-ray chapters of the Unofficial Guide to Radiology.

He is co-founder of “ReviseRadiology.com”, a revision resource website for Radiology trainees preparing for the FRCR postgraduate examinations. His Radiology subspecialty interest is Cardiothoracic Radiology and he is currently undertaking a clinical and research fellowship in Cardiac imaging within the NIHR Cardiovascular Biomedical Research Unit at Bristol Heart Institute.
