Rayna is currently an Academic Clinical Fellow in Neurology at Cambridge University. She trained at Cambridge and UCL, where she developed an interest in cognitive neuropsychology. Rayna has recently been appointed a post-doctoral associate of Clare Hall College in Cambridge, where she is currently completing research into the use of cognitive enhancers in neurodegenerative disease.

She has contributed to several of the books in the series, including neurology chapters in ‘The Unofficial Guide to Medicine’ and ‘The Unofficial Guide to Obstetrics and Gynaecology’.
